Budget Google Phone Planned for the UK

Google-moto-xGoogle is a giant not only in the Internet world, but are slowly expanding there expertise and knowledge to new markets. Most recently they are trying to change the mobile market place. Google has announced the coming release of a budget phones, the Google Moto X. The low cost phone is set to compete with the likes of the Samsung S4 and The HTC One X with a quad core processor but at a much lower price. This phone will be Google’s first budget phone set to make a statement to the rest of the market that the time of overpriced handsets have come to an end.

The Galaxy S4- Will It Have an Octa-Core Processor

s4 samsungThe S4 will be announced sometime this year, to take over where the Galaxy SIII has left off. It’s safe to say that this is one of the most anticipated devices of the year, and there is no saying what hardware or software features the device will have. One speculation that has been going around is that it will double the number of cores the S3 has to an impressive 8!

Looking at the performance of the S3, there is nothing to complain about it really. The 4 cores have served the device well, but it would seem seamless performance and multitasking is what the Korean manufacturer wants. The Exynos 5 Octa processor was unveiled at this year’s CES, and Samsung promised to utilize it in some upcoming devices. If this is true, it will probably premier in the S4.

The Samsung S2 Plus to Be Expected Soon

s2 plusDuring this year’s CES, Samsung was rather hushed about their mobile devices, but the assumption is that they are saving this for the MWC instead. However, they did announce the Galaxy SII Plus. While it is not slated to fight a battle for the top with the S3, it hopes to give the last lease of life to the wildly successful SII, and possibly keep its name alive before the new S4 comes along and steals the spotlight for itself.

The S2 Plus does share the same finish as the Galaxy S3, and this grants it premium looks that are pleasing. Not that they were missing in its predecessor, but they are just more pronounced in this one. The overall design is the same as the SII, and even under the hood, not much has changed.

nexus 5Google’s Nexus phones have been stealing the headlines following each announcement. These devices are made to match the best the market has to offer. And given Google’s deep integration into these devices, their demand has been extraordinary. The latest Nexus, the LG Nexus 4 has been around for around two months, and the reception it has gotten has been overwhelming. It has been able to stand against market greats and find its footing, which says a lot about the device.

Sony at the CES, and the Landing of the Xperia Z

Sony is not one to be left behind, and with the CES came the release of the Xperia Z.  It has been a hugely anticipated device, and is the greatest offering that Sony has to make. It is a colossal performance beast, packing a gorgeous 5” full HD Reality display for top of the class viewing experience. On top of that it is resistant to water, dust and scratches making it hardcore both inside and out. The glass used to construct the phone is shatter proof too.
